A special treat to end the year: a concert of French orchestra and vocal music! The concert will begin with the young musicians of the Bowling Green Youth Orchestra sitting side-by-side with The Symphony at WKU to perform some of the world's most famous music: selections from Bizet's opera "Carmen." Then The Symphony will perform Debussy's "Nocturnes" which is a challenging, colorful orchestral composition. To end the season The Symphony will be joined by the WKU Chorale and the Southern Kentucky Choral Society to perform Poulenc's riveting and majestic "Gloria."
Performance takes place in Van Meter Auditorium
