Rimsky-Korsakov: Scheherazade
Rimsky-Korsakov's Symphonic Suite, Scheherazade, is an orchestral masterwork that features every section of the orchestra in a solo role. It is an absolute joy to hear, full of memorable melodies and colorful orchestrations. Opening the concert will be Franz Liszt's "Piano Concerto One in E-Flat," performed by WKU piano professor Zachary Lopes.
