The Hundred Dresses

Based on the Newberry Award winning book, The Hundred Dresses tells the story of Wanda, a young Polish immigrant, ridiculed for claiming to own one hundred dresses when she only wears the same faded dress to school every day. A touching story of courage and understanding in the face of bullying and prejudice.

Our Halloween tradition continues with another concert of spooky music! Dr. Jacob Harrison will lead The Sympony in Mussorgsky's famous "A Night on Bald Mountain." WKU voice professor Liza Kelly will join the orchestra in a performance of Berlioz's eerie, rarely heard masterpiece, "The Death of Cleopatra: Lyric Scene." Closing the concert will be Dukas' famous orchestral showpiece,"The Sorcerer's Apprentice," made famous by Disney's Fantasia.

Performance takes place in Van Meter Auditorium
